RT Arabic has reported that Yemen’s Ansar Allah group (Houthis) has warned American companies that if their ships pass near the Arabian Peninsula, they will be targeted.
The Houthi forces issued this threat specifically to major U.S. energy companies, asserting that these companies are part of what they call the “enemy”; the United States.
This warning comes after the end of a ceasefire with the U.S. in May. Currently, the Houthis are targeting European ships, and on October 1st, they claimed responsibility for an attack on a Dutch cargo vessel named “MV Minerva Grace.”
Previously, the Houthis have inflicted significant damage on American ships using missile strikes.
