Zawia News deleted a post following a video published by Hindukush Voice, which disproved claims about the detention of a Paktika resident named Ismatullah. The individual, featured in the video, confirmed he was not detained by the Taliban and is currently in Saudi Arabia, not Afghanistan.

Hindukush Voice shared a video of Ismatullah, a resident of Yusuf Khail district in Paktika province, refuting allegations made by Zawia News. In the video, Ismatullah stated that the claims of his detention by the Taliban were false. He clarified that he has not even returned to Afghanistan and is residing in Saudi Arabia, shortly after the video went public, Zawia News removed its post.

Zawia News has gained a reputation on social media for spreading rumors, falsehoods, and inaccurate reports. However, Hindukush Voice has consistently challenged and exposed these fabrications, forcing Zawia News to retract posts nearly every day.
