Afghanistan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock announced that Agriculture Minister Mawlawi Ataullah Omari leading an official delegation visited India to strengthen bilateral cooperation in agriculture, livestock, irrigation, and agricultural trade.
According to the ministry, Omari is scheduled to meet officials from India’s Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, along with private sector representatives, to discuss expanding agricultural cooperation, modern farming technologies, the exchange of expertise, and the development of the livestock sector.
The ministry added that the Afghan delegation will also visit several agricultural centers in India to explore the country’s successful practices and modern technologies in agriculture, irrigation, and livestock.
