The General Directorate of Emirate-Owned Companies says that the State Oil and Gas Company has begun the rehabilitation project of the Kabul Bank No. 2 fuel storage facilities at Hairatan Port.

The source added that these storage facilities have a total capacity of 60,000 tons. Currently, around 20,000 tons are in use, and efforts are underway to fully activate the remaining 40,000 tons of capacity.

It is stated that these facilities had remained inactive for 17 years and are now on the verge of being reactivated.

It is also worth noting that railway infrastructure has been prepared to facilitate the arrival of wagons to these storage facilities.
