According to the statement, both sides emphasized mutual respect for national sovereignty and independence, while firmly rejecting any form of foreign interference. They also agreed to enhance security and intelligence coordination to address shared threats.

The statement added that the discussions also included the expansion of trade relations and measures to facilitate the movement of people and goods through border ports.
