Mullah Hamdullah Fetrat, Deputy Spokesperson of the Afghan government, reported that Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanfi, inaugurated the distribution of aid to returnee families in Balkh during his provincial visit.

Fetrat noted that, following leadership directives, the High Commission for Refugee Affairs is providing the assistance to families identified as eligible.

Mr. Hanfi urged all citizens to support returnees and other deserving families during the harsh winter, offering help within their means to alleviate their hardships.

Reports note that each eligible returnee family in the province will receive 250 kilograms of wheat and 5,000 Afghanis in cash through this program.
