Rahmuddin Rahimi, spokesperson for the Badghis provincial administration, told Voice of Hindukush that today (Friday) the asphalt work on a 50-kilometer stretch of the third section of the Laman–Qaisar Ring Road has commenced.
Mr. Rahimi added that the inauguration ceremony for the project was attended by the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Governor of Badghis, Mullah Mohammad Hanif Hamza, and local residents.
According to him, a total of 4,652,536,510 Afghanis has been allocated for this project, and the work is expected to be completed within three years.
