    Authorities Seize 238 Vehicle-Loads of Smuggled Goods from Pakistan

    The 215 Azm Corps press office reported that security forces intercepted 238 vehicle-loads of goods smuggled from Pakistan into the country over the past week. The operation took place in the Rabat and Kia Khan areas of Bahramcha district in Helmand province.

    The statement noted that the seized goods included substandard medicines, chemical fertilizers, coal, fuel, oranges, apples, fish meat, chocolate, and various other food and non-food items.

    Sadiqullah Hefazat, spokesperson for the 215 Azm Corps, stated that 16 vehicles carrying medicines were burned among the seized goods.
