The Badakhshan provincial authorities have announced in a statement that the construction of a bridge costing 25 million Afghanis has officially begun in Yaftal District of the province.

According to the source, the bridge is being built over the Kokcha River with the aim of facilitating traffic movement, reducing transportation problems, and connecting several districts with one another.

It is worth noting that a few days earlier, several water supply projects worth tens of millions of Afghanis were also inaugurated and put into service in Badakhshan.
