Director General of State-Owned Corporations Mawlawi Ahmad Jan Bilal said during the inauguration ceremony for the construction of the second major cement production plant in Jabal al-Siraj that the launch of the project marks an important day for Afghanistan’s industrial development.
Bilal added that once the plant becomes operational, it will represent another significant step toward the country’s self-reliance, reduce cement imports, and create employment opportunities for a large number of Afghans.
He emphasized the importance of completing the project on schedule and in accordance with high-quality standards.
