Precise information obtained by Voice of Hindukush indicates that a disagreement has emerged in Mashhad, Iran, among Hasib Qowai-e-Markaz’s family, friends, and some members of the Resistance Front over the organization of his funeral condolence ceremony.
According to participants at the meeting, after the official conclusion of the gathering, several close associates of Ahmad Massoud, particularly Najib Barwar, proposed that the coordination of Hasib’s condolence ceremony should be handled by the Resistance Front’s office and that the ceremonies should also be held at the office.
However, Commander Munib Amiri rejected the proposal, saying that holding the ceremony at the front’s office would prevent some individuals from attending.
According to him, if the ceremony were held at the front’s office, Commander Gul Haidar and some others would not attend.
According to the meeting participants, there had previously been efforts to move Hasib’s condolence ceremony to the front’s office and have the ceremony managed by the front. However, due to opposition from Hasib’s family, friends, and other supporters, the decision was not implemented.
Participants said that the issue of managing Hasib’s condolence ceremony has become another source of internal disagreements within the front and mistrust between his family and friends.
