Sayed Ahmad Shah Sadat, who served as the Minister of Communications and IT during the Republic and is currently visiting Russia, has stated, citing senior Russian officials, that leaders of the Afghan opposition (the Resistance Front) have proposed to Russia complete control over Afghanistan’s natural resources.

According to Sadat, the Resistance Front’s leaders also offered Russia full control over the Amu River and proposed appointing 15 ministers, including two key ministries, in accordance with Russia’s preferences.

In exchange, the opponents of Afghan government asked Russia to help them regain control in Afghanistan.

Sadat claims Russian President Vladimir Putin responded to these opposition figures by stating that Russia will no longer interfere in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.

Putin reportedly told the opponents that he has no trust in their front (the Resistance Front and its leaders), saying they had previously aligned with the U.S., then cooperated with Russia, later returned to serving U.S. interests, and now again seek Russia’s support.

Sadat added that he informed Russian officials that the front is currently serving Pakistan’s interests.

He also mentioned that Russian officials, in a mocking tone, told him they might set up a tea-drinking commission for the group and assign them some ceremonial responsibilities.

The rogue Pakistani military does not want the existing problems between Pakistan and Afghanistan to be resolved through rational and peaceful means. Afghans fully understand why the Pakistani military carried out the massacre of women and children and what its objectives are. However, the Pakistani military should realize that it will not be able to drag Afghans into a war at the time of its own choosing. Rather, Afghans themselves will determine the appropriate time to engage in war and teach the Pakistani military a lesson. The Pakistani military will inevitably reap what it has sown, and it will pay a very heavy price for it.
