Former U.S. diplomat Zalmay Khalilzad, reacting to the large-scale attacks carried out yesterday by Baloch armed groups in Balochistan, said that the Pakistani regime’s policy regarding Balochistan has failed.

He described the situation in Balochistan as having slipped out of control and warned that Pakistan’s current approach is facing serious challenges and must be changed.

He also expressed concern that, despite the gravity of the situation, it remains unclear whether Pakistan will genuinely change its policy or not.
