The Panjshir Provincial Media Office said in a statement that four children were died in a traffic accident in Omarzay village of the Hesa-e-Awal (Khenj) district of Panjshir Province.
According to the statement, the accident occurred due to the excessive speed and reckless driving of a Toyota Corolla.
The statement added that the driver has been arrested and will face legal proceedings in accordance with the applicable laws and Islamic Sharia.
