Four members of the Evil and Corruption Group have been killed in operations conducted by Afghan government special forces in Nahrin and Khost districts of Baghlan Province.
According to information obtained, during an operation by special forces last night in the Charsai area of the Kuhgday subdistrict of Nahrin District, two key commanders of the Evil and Corruption Group, Commander Shams, known as “Kharabat,” and Commander “Baba”, were killed.
According to the information, Commander Shams was the group’s military official and commander for Nahrin, Burka, and Jalga districts, while Commander Baba was the group’s military official for Nahrin District.
It is said that Shams was appointed to replace Commander Samad Kuhgday and Commander Zafar after they were killed, and was considered one of the group’s key commanders in the aforementioned districts.
Sources say that weapons, ammunition, and night-vision binoculars were also recovered from those killed during the operation.
Meanwhile, two other members of the Evil and Corruption Group were also killed during an operation in the Farghambul Valley area of Khost District in Baghlan Province. According to the information, the individuals were planning to carry out destructive activities.
It is worth noting that following the killing of Haseeb Quwa-i Markaz, these operations against the Evil and Corruption Group in Baghlan are regarded as another major blow to the group.
