The latest statement by the so-called online “Freedom Front” is far removed from Afghanistan’s current realities, facts, and its religious and national values. It is a so-called online Front that attempts, through lies, to misrepresent the current situation in Afghanistan and achieve its sinister goals.

This front echoes the slogans of the former Republic, even though that very Republic has already been tested by the people. It betrayed the nation’s votes, national sovereignty, religious and cultural values—so gravely that it is remembered as a shameful chapter in Afghanistan’s history. Words fail to capture the magnitude of this betrayal.

The so-called leaders of this front are remnants of corruption, theft, bribery, and Western subservience. They not only fail to represent the Afghan people’s will, but were also viewed as puppets trapped in the snares of foreign interests. The Republic’s leaders were already tried by the nation—never again will they be trusted.

The groups now gathering under the banners of “freedom,” “resistance,” and others include the same discredited figures who shamelessly and recklessly violated the hopes of the people and Afghanistan’s religious and national values. In their statements, they refer to Islamic Sharia, hijab, and the principles of promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice as “discrimination,” which clearly reflects their ignorance and detachment from religion.

During the Republic era, Afghanistan lacked true national sovereignty. In small districts, power was fragmented into islands of power. Women were used as tools for lust and profit. During elections, the people’s votes were traded for personal interests, and efforts were underway to divide Afghanistan geographically.

The Republic never held full control over more than 30% of the country’s territory. Key figures in the Republic were working for other countries. Some so-called government institutions existed only to create positions and vacancies for the sons of Republic leaders so they could be appointed to NTA posts and receive high salaries. Around 70% of the Afghan population was deprived of even basic government services. Was that a legitimate system? Could the entire nation see itself in that regime?

All members of the caretaker government have emerged from within the nation and represent the true will of the people. It holds legitimate authority and has proven to be free from discrimination. This system has established strong national sovereignty. There is hope in this government that Afghanistan will one day compete with other nations and transform the people’s aspirations into reality.
