From Nationwide Security in Afghanistan to Baseless Rumors by the Fugitives Writer: Abdullah Mohammadi

In today’s world, one of the greatest blessings that all humans desperately need—and is considered as vital as the soul to the body—is security and peace in the living environment.

Afghanistan, whose name was long associated with insecurity, killings, and massacres, and upon hearing its name, bloodshed, theft, kidnapping, and violence came to mind, has now, thanks to the Islamic system, achieved a level of security and tranquility that is rare, if not unprecedented, in the country’s history.

During the two decades of the Republic’s rule, Afghanistan experienced one of the darkest and most bitter periods in its history—a time filled with the plundering of assets, violations of people’s honor and dignity, child abductions and kidnapping, and the killing of youths over the slightest pretexts. Conversations with market-goers and shopkeepers reveal harrowing and terrifying scenes that would make anyone’s hair stand on end.

At that time, thieves backed by powerful figures connected to the regime committed all kinds of crimes without fear—from kidnapping innocent children to murdering youths and looting people’s properties. Law and justice were virtually nonexistent for such criminals, and corrupt government powers supported and protected them.

However, with the establishment of the Islamic system, after two decades of nightmares and darkness, nationwide security returned to Afghanistan, and the nests of thieves and kidnappers were dismantled. Now, a level of security has been established in Afghanistan that was once an unattainable dream for its people—a security that the long-suffering Afghan nation can see with their eyes, and feel with their souls.

This level of security allows people to walk the streets and alleys at night with peace of mind and travel to the farthest parts of the country at any hour of the day or night without facing the slightest security threat.

Furthermore, the arrival of foreign tourists in Afghanistan and their visits to the country’s natural, charming and scenic areas, which was unprecedented in the past, is clear evidence of the current peaceful and secure atmosphere.

Nevertheless, those who were themselves the agents of insecurity and crisis during the failed Republic era cannot tolerate this security today. Therefore, from time to time, they attempt to question the current security and instill pessimism about the country’s situation by spreading rumors and negative propaganda on social media.

But those living inside Afghanistan understand and feel the nationwide security better than anyone else. The long-suffering Afghan nation is well aware that their negative propaganda on social media is baseless and far from reality, serving only as anti-security propaganda.

Now, under the shadow of the Islamic system, Afghanistan is experiencing a new chapter of peace and security that is unprecedented in the country’s contemporary history.
