According to a report by Reuters, the Hamas Movement is reviewing a U.S.-backed ceasefire proposal for Gaza.

Meanwhile, Hamas stated in a press release on Wednesday that it supports a ceasefire that would bring an end to the war and ensure the withdrawal of occupying forces from Gaza.

It is noteworthy that the ceasefire proposal was conveyed to Hamas through Qatar and Egypt.

The potential for a ceasefire agreement between the Israeli regime and Hamas comes at a time when Israeli forces have intensified their attacks on Gaza in recent days, resulting in the deaths and injuries of hundreds of civilians.
