At the official invitation of Afghanistan’s Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari, a high-level Iranian delegation led by Iran’s Minister of Agriculture, Gholamreza Nouri Ghezeljeh, has arrived in Kabul. The delegation also includes several deputy ministers and technical officials from the ministry.
Mawlawi Sadr Azam Osmani, Deputy Minister for Agriculture and Livestock at along with a number of ministry officials, welcomed the Iranian delegation at Kabul International Airport.
During the visit, the Iranian Minister of Agriculture and the accompanying delegation are scheduled to meet with Afghanistan’s Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock and several other Afghan government officials to discuss expanding cooperation in the agriculture and livestock sectors, exchanging expertise, and further strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Iranian delegation will also participate in the International Agriculture and Livestock Exhibition being held in Afghanistan.
