Hostility Toward the Afghan Government or Subservience to Punjab?

In the political arena, constructive criticism of government policies is common, but when such criticism turns into spiteful opposition and reaches the point of defending and justifying the enemy’s positions against the country’s supreme interests and military victories, then this action transcends political opposition and directly takes the form of national treason. The recent drone strikes by the Afghan government against ISIS and the Pakistani intelligence’s proxy militias in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan were a legitimate defensive measure, successfully carried out to defeat the enemies of the country.

In response to this great military achievement and the precise and successful attack by Afghan forces on the enemy’s heart, the reactions of the United Front and the Resistance Front truly evoke feelings of regret and hatred in the hearts of every Afghan. These fronts, instead of supporting a decisive defense of the country’s territory and people’s security, issue statements justifying Pakistan’s military interventions and attacks from the capitals of other foreign countries and oppose the country’s military victory.

The fact that the leaders of these fronts condemn the attacks on Afghan forces and create justifications for the attacks of foreign intelligence agencies on the country shows that their conscience has been sold for a few dollars and foreign privileges. These sold-out leaders and generals only raise their voices and take a stand when Afghanistan’s formidable response threatens the interests of their foreign masters. It is a matter of shame and historical disgrace for someone to take a stance against their own country upon witnessing its military strength.

The most regrettable and surprising thing is that many leaders and military officials of these fronts, until yesterday, were sending young people to war in the name of opposing the military regime within the country and considered themselves defenders of the homeland; but today, they have become part of their infiltrating networks in some cities of Pakistan in exchange for offices, cars, and money. They associate with influential figures of the Pakistani intelligence under the guise of guards, but in reality, they are making plans against Afghanistan and do not want their country to be independent and their Afghan government to be strong.

Any political disagreement with the Afghan government can never justify someone supporting or defending the mass killings and interventions of the enemies of their own country and their mercenary army. Any Afghan who has even eaten the food and water of this sacred land for a single day will never justify Pakistan’s vile games and attacks against Afghanistan, nor will they condemn the Afghan Air Force for targeting the centers of their puppet groups like ISIS and Arbaki instead.

It must be made clear that the Pakistan-aligned stances of these fronts and their attempts at subjugation will lead to their further disgrace and humiliation among the Afghan people. The Afghan people today understand who sacrifices their lives for the survival and military supremacy of the country and who are the fuel for foreign wars. In recent attacks, Afghan forces precisely eliminated their desired and important targets and proved that the country’s military force does not care about anyone, while these factions will only be left with the stain of historical disgrace and servitude.
