India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Parvathaneni Harish, denounced Pakistan’s military airstrikes on Afghan territory, calling them a clear violation of international law, the UN Charter, and Afghanistan’s sovereignty.
According to reports, addressing the UN Security Council on Afghanistan, Harish noted that Pakistan carries out airstrikes on Afghan territory even during the holy month of Ramadan, resulting in civilian casualties, including women and children.
He added that Pakistan’s claims of respecting international law and promoting Islamic unity are nothing but hypocrisy.
