The central spokesperson of the interim government, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, announced on his X account that, following the leadership’s directive, mosques are now exempt from electricity fees. Authorities have been instructed not to demand payment for these costs going forward.
Additionally, officials have been directed to closely monitor the implementation of this exemption to prevent any misuse.
