According to Arab media reports, six Syrian soldiers were martyred in an airstrike carried out by the Zionist regime of Israel on the western outskirts of Damascus.
The attack reportedly struck a military base yesterday in the Al-Kiswah area of western Damascus.
Explosions had previously been reported in the same area, though their cause was not immediately confirmed.
The Syrian government has yet to issue a statement regarding the incident, but it has strongly condemned similar attacks in the past.
