The Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement that the minister, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, visited the home of the late former Afghanistan national cricket team player, Shapoor Zadran, to offer condolences to his family following his passing.
According to the statement, Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani also expressed his sympathy to the players of the Afghanistan national cricket team alongside Shapoor Zadran’s family. He described the late cricketer as a strong and widely respected young man, adding that “his passing has saddened many fellow Afghans.”
It is worth noting that Shapoor Zadran, the former fast bowler of the Afghanistan national cricket team, passed away in India after a period of illness. He was laid to rest yesterday at Maranjan Hill in Kabul.
