The Iranian Embassy in Kabul reported that Iran’s President, Masoud Pezeshkian, stated at the International Conference on Investment in Railways and Roads that obstacles facing transport projects should be reformed or removed.
Pezeshkian also emphasized strengthening economic and transport cooperation between Afghanistan and its neighboring countries.
He added that Iran is committed to removing existing obstacles to Afghanistan’s development.
The Iranian president referred to the historical and cultural ties between Afghanistan and other neighboring countries and stressed the importance of transparent investment and joint projects.
