According to the statement, Mawlawi Ataullah Omari said that expanding cooperation between Afghanistan and India in the fields of agriculture, irrigation, livestock, agricultural product processing, technology transfer, export development, and investment is important for the mutual benefit of both countries.

He called on Indian investors and companies to take advantage of the existing opportunities in Afghanistan’s agricultural sector, particularly by investing in agricultural production, processing, packaging, livestock development, and modern agricultural technologies.

The conference was attended by representatives of the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (India), officials from India’s Ministry of External Affairs, as well as members of the private sector, exporters, and investors, who discussed expanding cooperation in agriculture, food industries, irrigation, technology, and other economic sectors.
