The Ministry of Public Health said a meeting was held under the leadership of Minister Mawlawi Noor Jalal Jalali with relevant officials to discuss the digitization of government hospitals countrywide.
The ministry said participants discussed the electronic recording and management of health information, the digitization of hospital operations, and the available resources and existing needs.
Jalali said digitizing hospitals would increase transparency in patient registration, the management of medicines and medical equipment, as well as financial and administrative affairs.
He said completing the digitization process would help speed up patient services, streamline the work of healthcare staff, and improve the overall quality of healthcare services.
