    Moral Enforcers Address 93 Women’s Rights Cases This Week

    The Ministry of Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice reported that moral enforcers addressed 93 cases concerning women’s rights and related issues this week.

    According to the ministry, these cases included 37 instances of domestic violence, eight inheritance disputes, 11 forced marriages, 13 dowry-related cases, eight maintenance (nafaqa) cases, and eight divorce cases.

    Moreover, the ministry added that moral enforcers arrested 12 offenders, resolved 50 conflicts and disputes, and carried out 318 corrective advisory sessions with traders countrywide.
