    MOU Signed to Deliver Aid to Affected People in Panjshir

    The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) announced in a statement that its Director General, Mullah Nooruddin Turabi, along with representatives of the Justice and Civil Society Empowerment Foundation, signed MOU worth 489,332 dollars to provide assistance to needy and affected people in Panjshir province.

    According to the source, under the MOU, 2,216 needy, affected, and orphaned families in Darah, Khinj districts, and the central city of Bazarak will receive166.92 worth of food assistance per family over four phases during four months.

    The statement added that Mr. Turabi emphasized to the foundation’s representative that the project must be implemented with full transparency and urgency.
