Central Spokesperson of Islamic Emirate, Zabihullah Mujahid, stated on his X that the recent agreement with the Pakistani regime should not be regarded as a joint declaration.

He noted that the provision stating, “nor will there be support for groups carrying out attacks against the Pakistani government,” reflects the Islamic Emirate’s longstanding policy that Afghan territory will not be used against others.

Mujahid stressed that the Islamic Emirate does not back attacks against any party and has consistently reaffirmed this position.

He stressed that the heart of the agreement is a mutual pledge by both sides to refrain from hostile actions, which he described as its “focal point.”
