    Nearly 230,000 Metric Tons Transported via Railway Last Week

    The Ministry of Public Works reported that 229,536 metric tons of goods were transported via the country’s railway network over the past week, from April 24 to April 30, 2026.

    The ministry stated that the highest volume of shipments moved through Hairatan port, including both petroleum and non-petroleum goods.

    According to available data, Exports accounted for 262 tons of the total shipments, all of which were pomegranate juice.

    The Ministry of Public Works assured it is working to improve railway services and expand facilities to better support traders in transporting goods.
