Jan Egeland, Secretary-General of the Norwegian Refugee Council, condemned the Pakistani regime’s indiscriminate attack on a Kabul hospital for recovering addicts, calling it deeply shocking.
He reported witnessing firsthand the extensive damage to the hospital and the heavy toll it took on civilians, resulting in numerous casualties.
In response to the Pakistani regime’s reckless violence, he stressed that civilians and civilian facilities must never be targeted.
He further urged the Pakistani regime to uphold its responsibilities under international humanitarian law.
