Officials from the Herat Municipality stated that over the past year, more than 80 development projects were executed across various districts of Herat city, with total costs surpassing one billion Afghanis.
According to the officials, these projects included underground roads, overpasses, road construction, canals, and asphalt paving of streets.
It is worth noting that following the return of the Islamic Emirate to power, the implementation of major infrastructure and development projects was initiated across both major and smaller cities throughout the country, and the process is still ongoing.
