The Pakistani Taliban have issued a statement stating that certain individuals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, allegedly supported by intelligence factions, are attempting to incite civil conflict.

According to the statement, they claim that these entities are deliberately fostering instability to serve their own interests and to hinder the nation’s progress, peace, and the establishment of an Islamic system.

The statement emphasizes that their operations target only military institutions responsible for oppressing citizens, not civilians or political parties.

The statement further states that they also commend recent public efforts to resist the government’s divisive strategies, particularly in the Dera district, where they allege the government is fostering animosity among communities.
