The Ministry of Interior has reported that counter-narcotics personnel from the Paktia Police Command have discovered and destroyed a drug processing facility in the Zargul area of Ahmad Abad district.
According to the ministry, the facility was wiped out along with all its equipment. Three individuals were arrested in connection with the case and will be handed over to judicial authorities following initial investigations.
Security forces also seized 503 kilograms of raw hashish, 619 kilograms of cannabis seeds, drug manufacturing equipment, and a pickup truck from the facility.
