Hikmatullah Asifi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation, stated that following the closure of Iran’s airspace, the number of transit flights over Afghanistan’s airspace has increased.

He did not provide details about the scale of this increase or the financial benefits generated as a result.

The FlightRadar24 website also reported that after U.S. and Israeli regime attacks on Iran, air traffic over Afghanistan’s airspace has significantly intensified.
