According to Agence France-Presse (AFP), Ahmed Al-Sharaa, head of Syria’s interim government, and Mazloum Abdi, commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), have signed an agreement to integrate the SDF into the country’s civilian and military institutions.
The agreement, signed yesterday, emphasizes Syria’s unity and stipulates that civilian and military administrations in the northeast, along with ports, airports, and oil and gas resources, will come under the control of the central government.
