The Ministry of Water and Energy has announced that a technical team from the Parwan Provincial Department of Water and Energy has completed initial social, economic, environmental, and technical assessments for the proposed Topdara Reservoir and Power Generation Dam in Charikar, the capital of Parwan province.
In a statement released today (Wednesday), the ministry clarified that the dam’s construction is expected to irrigate thousands of hectares of agricultural land and supply electricity to hundreds of households.
