The Afghan Embassy in Moscow has announced that Mawlawi Gul Hasan Hasan met with the Russian President’s Special Representative for Afghanistan, Mr. Zamir Kabulov, where they discussed the current state of bilateral relations between Afghanistan and Russia as well as the expansion of cooperation.

The Afghan ambassador provided information regarding the violation of Afghanistan’s airspace by the Pakistani regime and explained the Afghan government’s position. He also referred to inaccurate reports published by certain Russian media outlets that had disseminated information about Afghanistan far from reality.

Meanwhile, Zamir Kabulov described the recent tensions between Afghanistan and the Pakistani regime as concerning and emphasized that issues should be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy.

He further stated that, if necessary, his country is prepared to play a mediating role in resolving the problems between Afghanistan and Pakistan.
