Afghanistan has not only been experienced the bloody storm of infrastructure destruction and genocide under the shadow of occupation and republic, but occupation and republic here have also crushed the people’s psyche, looted their beliefs, shaken their consciences, and normalized subjugation and negligence. They have given multiple colors to the faces of many people and sowed the seeds of enmity and grudges against their religion, identity, and people in the hearts of many.
During the twenty-year American invasion of Afghanistan, a number of individuals emerged from the mix of occupation, republic, sectarianism, and materialism, who played the role of propaganda tools for the West under the guise of religion, fatwa, and sects. One of these is Habibullah Hesam, who introduces himself as the head of the Scholars’ Council of the Resistance Front, but in reality, he has been directed towards the profession of oratory to implement foreign intelligence agendas.
Although Islamic terms circulate on his tongue, he deviates from their original meanings and continuously strives to spread discord among people. He distorts many religious terms for his political and sectarian goals, which is a dangerous game. If religious language becomes a tool for sectarian, political, and intelligence purposes, as well as personal vendettas, then this is a clear manifestation of discord.
Hassam, who portrays himself as a spiritual figure and religious scholar, is, in fact, part of the foreign intelligence propaganda machine. Through his recent statements, he has attempted to introduce the caretaker government as a threat similar to ISIS in terms of actions, beliefs, and ideology to the region, the world, and the Afghan people. This action seems to be part of the foreign intelligence agenda, as Hassam has previously lobbied for the ISIS group in his statements and has criticized the caretaker government for its operations and targeted attacks against ISIS, accusing the caretaker government of injustice in this regard.
Hassam, who is currently enjoying all kinds of social and economic comforts and the pleasures of a peaceful life in the West, promotes the philosophy of fire from that safe environment, inciting Afghans to war and seeking to resolve his grievances and achieve his goals through this means. While issuing fatwas for war to his tribes, he himself lives thousands of kilometers away from the battlefield.
Enjoying the peace, law, and prosperity of the West and then promoting war and rebellion from that very place is not only a sign of hypocrisy but also a promotional alignment with the agendas that the West desires, for which they have invested and trained people.
Hassam’s recent statements are very clear; they contain no reference to national good or any intention of reform. This is a kind of personal desire whose goal is not to save the nation from misfortunes but rather to restore the power equation in a way that he plays a significant role. His criticisms are not based on compassion, piety, or national interests; he is one of those people who compromise on conscience, principles, and even religion to attain power.
In the end, it should be said that Habibullah Hasam is neither a reformist nor a representative of religion, but rather a preacher of Western agendas, who has used the language of takfir, the spirit of religious division, and the emotions of personal grudges for power. If such figures are not exposed within the nation, they will pose a great threat to the intellectual safety of the people.
