U.S. President Donald Trump said the U.S forces will carry out its largest airstrikes against Iran tonight.
Trump also said the United States plans to take control of Iran’s Khark Island and other major oil facilities in the near future.
He claimed that Iran’s navy, air defense systems, air force, and much of its remaining military infrastructure have already been destroyed.
Meanwhile, Iranian Supreme Leader adviser Mohammad Mokhber dismissed Trump’s remarks, saying he knows nothing beyond making boasts and that such statements have no effect on Iran.
The comments come as tensions between the United States and Iran have risen sharply again, with both sides carrying out attacks against each other in recent days.
