U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Spain did not cooperate with Washington in war against Iran. He warned that this could lead to a halt in trade relations between the United States and Spain.
Speaking to reporters, Trump said, “I think they (Spain) are providing no cooperation. They have acted very poorly. We may stop trading with Spain.”
The tensions between the U.S. and Spain escalated after Spain denied Washington permission to use its airbases for operations targeting Iran.
