In yet another episode of gun violence across the United States, unidentified assailants opened fire on a group of people gathered along 27th Street in Philadelphia’s Grace Ferry area around 1 a.m. Monday, leaving at least three dead and 13 others injured.
CBS and other American media outlets, citing police sources, reported that the shooting resulted in multiple casualties, with emergency responders rushing the wounded to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Several victims are reported to be in critical condition.
While police have withheld further details, they confirmed the attack was carried out by unidentified gunmen.
