Da Afghanistan Bank has announced that it signed a cooperation agreement with the international organization “ACGF” aimed at financing micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), expanding Islamic financial services, and strengthening the financial sector.
Da Afghanistan Bank said that, under the agreement, grants worth approximately $1 million will initially be provided to five banks and one microfinance institution.
The agreement will also provide banks and financial institutions with technical and professional support, training programs, and capacity-building opportunities.
