The leadership of the Afghan government has extended congratulations to the Mujahid and devout people of Afghanistan, as well as to all Muslims around the world, on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Fitr. He also advised the public and officials to work toward maintaining unity among themselves and to obey their leaders.
In the Eid message, it was stated that the Afghan government seeks to maintain strong and positive relations with the Islamic world based on the principles of Islamic brotherhood.
All parties were also urged to respect the beliefs and values of the Afghan people and to refrain from interfering in Afghanistan’s internal affairs.
The message further stated that the Afghan government considers any wrongdoing against Muslims and violations of their rights anywhere in the world as injustice and strongly condemns such actions.
