    Japan’s Ambassador in Kabul Reaffirms Continued Support for Afghanistan

    Afghanistan’s Minister of Higher Education, Sheikh Neda Mohammad Nadim, held talks in Kabul with Japan’s Ambassador, Masamoto Kenichi, focusing on reconstruction initiatives and efforts to strengthen higher education.

    The Ministry of Higher Education reported that Mr. Nadim commended Japan’s policy toward Afghanistan and urged cooperation between Kabul and Tokyo.

    For his part, the Japanese ambassador offered condolences for the victims of the recent earthquake in northern Afghanistan and outlined Japan’s ongoing activities and assistance in the country.

    In his remarks, the ambassador welcomed Afghanistan’s progress and reiterated his country’s commitment to ongoing cooperation and support.
