    New Appointments Made in Government Institutions by Order of Afghan Leadership

    The spokesperson of the Afghan government, Mawlawi Zabihullah Mujahid, stated that, by the directive of the leadership, a number of new appointments have been carried out in government institutions.

    According to Mr. Mujahid, the former governor of Faryab province, Mullah Abdul Ahad Fazli, has been appointed as the Minister of Communications and Information Technology.

    Additionally, based on the new appointments, the former governor of Badghis province, Mullah Mohammad Hanif Hamza, has been appointed as the governor of Faryab; the former governor of Baghlan province, Mawlawi Abdul Rahman Haqqani, has been appointed as the governor of Khost; and the former governor of Khost province, Mawlawi Abdullah Mukhtar, has been appointed as the governor of Baghlan.

    In other changes, new governors, deputy governors, and Command Chiefs have also been appointed for several provinces, including Baghlan, Logar, Paktika, Maidan Wardak, Farah, Helmand, and Nimroz.
