Russia’s Ministry of Defence stated that its air defence systems shot down 3,891 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles over the past week.
According to reports, the interceptions took place in several major and smaller cities, including the Russian capital.
Meanwhile, the Russian military launched hundreds of drones and missiles at the Ukrainian capital the previous day, resulting in the deaths of four people and injuries to 100 others.
The Russia–Ukraine war began in 2022 and has since resulted in hundreds of thousands of casualties on both sides.
