U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that it would be a “smart move” for Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to relinquish power.
He made these remarks during a conversation with reporters yesterday, adding that it is ultimately up to Maduro whether he steps down or remains in power.
Recently, Trump has seized several oil tankers as part of increasing pressure on Maduro.
