The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation announced the completion and inauguration of the Juliett Ramp passenger aircraft parking project at Ahmad Shah Baba International Airport in Kandahar, at a total cost of 103 million afghanis.
According to the ministry, the project was completed within ten months and now has the capacity to accommodate the simultaneous parking of four large passenger aircraft.
Officials noted that the completion of the project will significantly reduce passenger-related challenges, bring airport services in line with standards, and eliminate difficulties faced by passengers when moving between aircraft and the terminal.
